Position Overview
Role: Administrative Assistant
Employment Type: Full-time
Schedule: Standard business hours with occasional flexibility for events or deadlines
Salary Range: $38,000 - $50,000 annually, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and maintaining records.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documents with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- Manage office supplies and coordinate with vendors to ensure a well-stocked and functional workspace.
- Support event planning and logistics, such as booking venues, preparing materials, and coordinating attendees.
- Maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy access to important information.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.
- Uphold confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in administrative support or office management (e.g., Certified Administrative Professional – CAP).
- Experience using project management or scheduling software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with bookkeeping or basic accounting tasks.
- Ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve problems.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
